Christian Kaufmann was born in Bonn in 1993 and studied Media Design in cologne. After finishing his studies in 2015, he worked as an Motion Designer for multiple television productions. In 2016, he began studying Animation at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Till his diploma in 2022 he created several animated shorts.

Fabián Molinaro San Martín is a Director, animator and ilustrator, Montevideo, Uruguay, 1994. He participated as an animator in the Aldaya’s publicity spot “Gent Jove”, the short film “La música del ascensor” by Adrián Doménech, the music video by The Good Tenants “Too far gone” and the animated spot “Da el salto” for Master’s Degree on Animation. Currently works as an artist in the videogame company Digital Sun.

Jitka Nemikinsová Born in Prague in 1996, she studied Advertising Graphic Design and Animation at FAMU. She directed films like 1938 and Bait Bite. Currently, she focuses on graphic design and illustration, with Lights being her graduation project.

Rika Nakayama is a Japanese-born experimental & stop-motion animator. She received a BFA in Illustration and Film/Animation/Video from Rhode Island School of Design in 2021 and she is currently enrolled in the MFA Experimental Animation program at the California Institute of the Arts. Her works combine various media to reimagine worlds with new perspectives and explore the boundaries of animated expressions.

Rosemary, a young fairy, leads a boring life at the fairytale castle. She’d rather be a witch so she can scream and get really messy. Her mother doesn’t like the sound of that, so Rosemary takes her stuff and sets off to the witch forest.

Cedric Igodt is a graduate from the Belgian Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema and Sound. In 2011 he set up the studio Niceberg Studios where he became a director of animated short films for theme parks, such as Meet the Dinos and Little Dolphin. Witchfairy is his first animated narrative short film to be presented on a film festival.
