José Luís de Sales Marques

José Luís de Sales Marques is President of the Board of Directors of the Institute of European Studies of Macau (IEEM) since 1st January 2002, and also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cultural Industries Fund. He was born in Macau and got his degree in Economics at the University of Porto (Portugal), holding also a Master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Macau/IEEM. Previously he was a high-ranking official of the Macau Government (1983-1993) and Mayor of Macau (1993-2001). He is also very active in civic society, participating at the board level in several associations and foundations of the cultural and education sectors. In August 2003, IEEM founded CREATIVE MACAU – Center For Creative Industries, the first dedicated Creative Industries organization in Macau and one of the earliest in Asia. 


Lúcia Lemos

Lúcia Lemos holds a BA (Hons) Management of the Arts degree from IEEM and has been working in the CREATIVE MACAU – Center For Creative Industries as Coordinator since its establishment in the year of 2003. She is responsible for running CREATIVE MACAU’s yearly program, which includes the Macau International Short Film Festival, competitions, exhibitions, seminars, workshops and participation in international art and design fairs. She has been invited to be the juror for many local and international contests in art, design, video and, performing arts. Lúcia Lemos is not only an artist but an enthusiastic contributor to the local culture and arts sector. Besides being an art lover, she also participated and won awards in video art and jewellery competitions.


João Francisco Pinto

João Francisco Pinto was born in Portugal, where he studied and graduated in economics. He embraced the media industry at an early age, starting his career as a journalist in a financial newspaper in Lisbon. In 1994, he moved to Macau, where he started managing a television and radio station.

Currently, he is responsible for supervising the production of Portuguese and English language content for TDM, Macau’s public broadcaster.

Lok Kong. Director of the Programmes and Production Division of TDM – Teledifusão de Macau, joined the company in 1984 and has been in TDM till now. For the past 30 years, he worked as Production Assistant, Director, Producer and Department Head, mainly engaging himself in TV Production. He is also the Organising Committee Member.
