Iris Carballo Déniz, born in 1987 in Gran Canaria, began her career in 2019 with her feature film “Salt women, smoke men,” which explored Canarian emigration to Cuba. She later directed her first short film “In white” in 2021 and her second short film “All is fine” in 2022.

Dumitru Grosei was born in Marinici, R. Moldova in 1969. Between 1992-94, he studied Law at Lasi University and in 1994 he started studying Film Directing at UNATC Bucharest. Between 2016 and 2017 he held the position of Director of the National Film Archive of the Republic of Moldova. Currently, Dumitru Grosei is the founder president of the Association of Independent Filmmakers of Moldova ALTERNATIVE CINEMA.

After spending her childhood in her father’s glass shop, the author interprets glass as a familiar material. A confused childhood observed 20 years later, a childhood that the glazier’s daughter tries to treasure using paint and glass, elements that she will soon discover are just as fragile as her own memory.
